The CBO rules that I will do everything in my power to preserve are...
The rules regarding RedD, Bounce and Ban I set forth from the very beginning.
Any other suggestions for new rules or modifications will be thoughtfully considered and discussed with the other admins, however...
I may not consider any ideas if they are simply contained within a normal DAP, users must be specific in their request.
Chatter who do not make suggestions will, in my opinion forfeit the right to complain about and existing or new rules, they should not bother complaining about room driection as well, again IMO.
For example:
CBO I suggest you place a 3 minute mic limit.
CBO I suggest you create a justme welcome bot.
CBO I suggest you change the room greeting.
Anyways, here is my original attempt at CBO rules and when they are finally looking complete and good to go, they will be made available on the Dumpster. It is my intention to have a trigger word or phrase that will display a link to the Dumpster, testing has already been done in this regard, typing "room rules" while in the room (without the quotes obviously) should trigger the CBO bot to do its thing (providing it is running).

[Who?] is acceptable and it's perfectly obvious it was used in the context *Who is Winston Churchill?* Whom is a pronoun that refers to someone not present in the conversation. Since WC was present ie not an unknown identity, *who?* is correct.
The difference between *who* & *whom* isn't obvious to everyone but seriously does it really make any difference to comprehension? It only seems to bother the grammar police, who ought to be on their guard from now on, otherwise their protestations are floccinaucinihilipilification.

I assume your address to the entire room was merely a courtesy as all reference to individuals was for the most part negated when you said quote...

I would like to stress the point made by anon: 1/11/2013 07:20:00 PM when they said you really needed to include the entire exchange, However...
The way I see the problem was, from the moment he arrived in the room he was on the mic and trying to generate a debate (any debate as long as it was driven by him). rigger obliged him by typing back and things moved on some, soon others were wanting him to stop with the preaching (I took it more as condescension). Admittedly the room started to want him to stop with the mic and didn't mind letting him know it, at that stage I asked him to text his argument so we could play some music, he ignored the request so I momentarily red dotted him, but he continued. I then asked him to use the keyboard and again did not get a response, other than his continued mic hoggin'. It appeared to me that he was clearly under the misunderstanding that this was his room and we were lucky to be listening to him. I RedDotted him once again, this time for approx 15 (at most 20) seconds, a few more seconds later and he left. I am therefore compelled to believe he was there purely for his own ego and that he needed to satisfy that ego, he needed to hear himself speak as the prospect of typing his message was clearly beneath him.
BTW there were several examples of his keyboard prowess before departure, so it wasn't as though he didn't have a keyboard.
At the end of the day, the real problem for me was his arrogance, a trait I find most "Appalling", although this in itself does not draw a RedDot, but it sure as hell made me look for every opportunity to exercise an Admin's privilege. Please visit the CBO Rules page on this blog for rules and regulations info.
I don't wish to appear callous or uncaring, but I could care less what Paltalkerz think of me, if nothing else, they will see why I created CBO and that all admins try very hard to maintain what was set out from the start.
I hope this doesn't stop you or anyone else from visiting CBO and I am sorry you felt the way you did.

There are people on paltalk that have Epilepsy, hence the reason for wanting muted font colors. As for larger font, we tend to WANT to see what you are typing and some have poorer vision than others..FYI

Sorry but I don't buy it. In all the years chatting on yahoo not 1 person asked us to change font color because they had epilepsy. Fair enuff a small font might be difficult to read but nobody ought to be bounced for that. Paltalk has ignore buttons if you don't want to see the text
